En aquests gairebé dos anys de treball del Grup Impulsor s’han posat en marxa diversos projectes i iniciatives:
Comissions de treball: ja estan constituïdes i han estat l’origen de moltes de les propostes actuals.
Reactivació del Pla estratègic territorial: havia quedat aturat i ara s’ha sol·licitat formalment a la Generalitat que es torni a impulsar.
Projectes de mobilitat:
- S’ha detectat la necessitat d’un aparcament baix cost.
- S’ha començat a preparar l’enquesta als ajuntaments per identificar necessitats en mobilitat i traslladar-les al pla de serveis de la Generalitat.
Agenda urbana metropolitana: ja s’està executant mitjançant la Diputació, amb l’objectiu de dotar el territori d’un full de ruta compartit i facilitar l’accés a projectes europeus.
Projectes impulsats pels ajuntaments en el marc de la filosofia metropolitana:
- L’aplicació MOT, sorgida de Reus i gestionada per BASE, que es convertirà en una eina de mobilitat integral.
- L’aplicació de seguretat metropolitana, liderada conjuntament per diversos municipis, que es desplegarà aviat.
- El projecte Funescam, nascut a Reus i desenvolupat en col·laboració amb municipis com Vila-seca, Salou o Constantí.
- Experiències de cooperació en àmbits com el dels residus o en altres serveis compartits.
En paral·lel, s’ha començat a treballar amb la Generalitat de Catalunya en diverses vies de planificació de mobilitat amb vista al 2028.
